One of the easiest ways to help your lawn service go smoothly is by preparing your property before we arrive. A few simple steps can help us work efficiently while protecting your lawn, equipment, and belongings.
1. Pick Up Personal Items
Before your scheduled service, remove items from the lawn such as:
- Children’s toys
- Garden hoses
- Sports equipment
- Lawn games
- Decorations
- Pet toys
Keeping the lawn clear helps us mow safely and efficiently.
2. Keep Pets Indoors
For everyone’s safety, we recommend keeping pets inside or in a secure area while your lawn is being serviced. This helps prevent unexpected interruptions and keeps both your pets and our team safe.
3. Unlock Gates (If Needed)
If your backyard is fenced, please make sure any required gates are unlocked or that we’ve been given instructions for access before your scheduled visit.
4. Move Vehicles When Possible
If a vehicle is parked on the grass or blocking part of the lawn, moving it before service allows us to maintain the entire property during one visit.
5. Let Us Know About Any Changes
If you’ve recently installed landscaping, irrigation, invisible fencing, or other features, please let us know. We appreciate knowing about anything that may require extra care while servicing your property.
6. Keep Walkways Clear
If possible, keep driveways, sidewalks, and entrances free of obstacles. This helps us move equipment safely and efficiently around your property.
What If You’re Not Home?
No problem. Most customers don’t need to be home during their scheduled service. As long as we have access to the areas included in your service, we’ll complete the work as scheduled.
Our Goal
Preparing your property only takes a few minutes, but it helps make your service safer and more efficient for everyone involved.
Whether you choose GRNSCP, another lawn care company, or maintain your lawn yourself, these simple steps can help ensure your lawn is cared for with fewer interruptions and the best possible results.
